Description of Educational Economics and Management Discipline 

Educational Economics and Management is a secondary discipline master degree program offered by the Institute of Higher Education under the first-level discipline in public administration. In accordance with the actual requirement of specialization and students, this discipline can be divided into the four directions, namely, educational economics and school management, education and human resource management, research for entrepreneurship education and employment as well as financial education and training management, among which the research for entrepreneurship education is one of few master programs in the field of management or education offered in some domestic universities and colleges. The purpose of this discipline is dedicated to meet the demand of cultivating senior specialized talents working on teaching, scientific research, management and personnel training in the higher institutions, administrative organization and enterprise sectors.

This master degree program focuses on the graduate education work and attaches importance to the personal quality training of postgraduate students. The guarantee the graduate quality has been further improved with the aids of class teaching, scientific research, academic exchange and social practice in terms of variety and modes base on the talent training scheme. In addition, various academic activities, practical management and joint investigation are motivated and implemented together with master supervisors.

“教育经济与管理专业”简介

我校“教育经济与管理专业”是公共管理一级学科下的二级学科点，授予管理学硕士学位，隶属于高等教育研究所。根据学科专长和学生发展的实际，专业确定了四个特色研究方向：教育经济与学校管理、教育与人力资源管理、创业教育与就业研究、财商教育与培训管理，其中创业教育与就业方向是国内高校在管理类或教育类硕士学位点中为数不多的专业方向。本专业致力于培养能在教学、科研单位、政府教育行政部门以及大中型企业从事教学、科研、管理和人才培训的高级专门人才。

本学位点重视研究生教育工作，注重学生个人品质的培养。根据个体特点制定个人培养方案，运用课堂教学、科学研究、学术交流和社会实践等多种方式、多种手段提高研究生培养质量。除正常授课外，经常组织学生开展学术活动、鼓励学生参加实际管理，与导师共同参与学术交流和科学研究等。
